Compass Independent Living provides services that support people in receipt of local council care packages or self funders to manage their care in a way that gives them choice and control over their lives.

Compass Independent Living provides support through contracted services through local councils or direct to service users who wish to purchase the service from us. 

We provide a range of support from home visits where we are contracted by a local council and payroll and managed accounts services for anyone who wishes to access them. We also have a range of online tools which are there to assist everybody.

Compass Independent Living Services
We offer services to support people who would like to use a direct payment or personal budget to self-direct their care.  This may be by using a care agency or by employing care staff (Personal Assistants) directly. Some people are put off by the paperwork and responsibilities involved, particularly those aroun paying staff and dealing with the tax and national insurance obligations. Since 2006 we have therefore been supporting disabled people to employ their own staff, by offering payroll and managed account services.
